HAPPY 2006!!
Wow! It has been forever since I have typed on here. Thank you Alix for reminding me.
Not much is going on at the moment. I have not typed any entries because things have been a little busy around here.
My mom was in the hospital the week before Christmas. She went in on a Monday and got out Christmas day Sunday. Boy did she give us all a scare this time. She is feeling much better now. She went in due to not being able to breath... Ummm HELLO mom smoking will do that to you!

Then my sister went into the hospital last week due to a major Kidney infection. They had to put a tube in through her back into her kidney to drain the infection YUCK! She has to keep that in for the next two weeks then they are going to decide if they are taking out the kidney stone that is causing all her problems.

The BIG game is this weekend! Dad are ya ready???????

Ummmm this is hard.... I like both teams hard when you were born in COlorado and grew up in Massachusetts!
We were going to go to the game but not enough $$$$ to go even though tickets were only 99.00 a peice. Cheaper to watch on TV anyhow!
Unless I win tickets that I have an entry in for... HAHAHAHAHAHA Yea right me win anything

Sorry I have not posted an entry in a while. Things have been busy around here. Getting ready for the holidays too. I had to bartend at the bar all last week due to a fired bartender. Not a bad job made good tips. Marvin is starting a new hobby FLYING planes  not real ones remote control ones.

Shaya had her High School Drama club play last week. Wish you all could have seen it! It was AWESOME!!!

Brayden is sick today so he is not going to school

Just got home from Bowling! I bowl every sunday night with My sis-in-law Bree and a friend of mine Angie. Name of our team is Girlz with Ballz we beat our other team one game out of 3. 152 was my highest score tonight. Bree got a 159 and Angie got a 119 not to bad!
Kids went with Marvin to a friends house to help them move then they went to Burger King for dinner I guess they watched the movie Shark Boy and Lava Girl.
Brayden and Shaya do not have school tomorrow so we are going to try and rake our leaves and finish putting out our decorations for Halloween

Hello,
Well I forgot to type another entry so I am typing yesterdays entry for today .
Yesterday Shaya and I raked the leaves and used a leaf blower in the front yard. Marvin called and had 2 tickets to the Avalanche game and he couldnt go so I took Shaya. We had a good time the AVS won 5-3 against the Oilers. It was tied 3-3 the 3rd period. The AVS scored thier last two goals in the last minute of the 3rd! It was loud and AWESOME in there!! GO AVS!! There was a few fights but nothing major was kindof bummed....LOL!!!

Brayden is sick again today so another day out of schoolHe needs to get better for tomorrow he has a fall festival party.

Another exciting day....lol.... Brayden stayed home from school he woke up with a horrible nasty cough at 2 am and couldnt breathe all that well and a fever to boot. So I think he is getting the cold everyone has been getting around here. 

Spent the day with Brayden and my sis-in-law Bree we had lunch
together and then got out nails done. Brayden didnt though....

Shaya had violin today she is sounding pretty darn good on that thing! She also had art club after school She is turning into one busy kid. She has Karate and a rehersal for the high school play tomorrow after school. Hopefully all this will tire her out so she will go to bed on time.

Marvin spent his day at the bar the bartender never showed up so he played waitress and bartender most of the morning.

Hope everyone is doing well and getting ready for halloween!!
We are decorating scary out in our front yard. I will try and post a picture after the weekend of what it looks like. Turning out wonderful!!

Another crazy day in the Johnston Family.  Today was a cold drixzzly day. I went on a field trip with Brayden and his 1st grade class to the Zoo. We didnt get to spend much time there due to having the kids do a small report on an animal (Brayden's group picked the penguins)  That took alot of our time because 1st graders cant spell all that well and I had 7 of them they should have picked the lazy hippo not to much to write on him...lol

Well it is the start of the weekend. No plans for tomorrow  other then cleaning the house ! Fun fun!
Marvin will more then likley go up to the bar around 11 and open it up for the morning shift.  Hope everyone is doing wonderful! Feel free to reply to my journal any time you feel like it. Maybe get the family together and chat on here one night I put a chat room on the site!

Well we have not been doing much but taxes on the bar. What a mess Marvin and I are working our butts off trying to get them done on time.
Shaya and Brayden had Karate after school for 45 min they had fun. Shaya had a rehersal for a play at the high school tonight sounds like she made the cut and will be continuing her rehersals. They are doing a play about kids bugging older people and they sing and dance, Can't wait for the play to begin!
Our weather today was pretty chilly rained this morning. Sounds like some mountains got a little bit of snow.
Well anyone win the POWERBALL???? We tried had 2 numbers but that is it I think someone sold us the wrong ticket
One of these days we will strike it rich..... hahahahah!!!!

Well I (Rikki) just got home from bowling. Marvin and the kids made meatloaf and banana bread for dinner. Not to bad of cooks. :-) Bowling was kindof crappy tonight. I have my sister-in-law Bree and a friend of mine Angie on my team. I was trying to keep a constent score of 111 each game but messed up on my last game. My scores were 111, 111, 100... Pretty bad there!! Everyone did great what a great team we have!!! Kids are in bed school tomorrow. Marvin went to be seeing as he has to close the bar tonight at 2:00am not fair.
Well going to get going time to play some games online and head to bed
